Refund and Cancellation Policy

 

Tuition is due at the time of registration. Your space is guaranteed only when payment is received. All classes are contingent on sufficient enrollment. Tuitions will be returned if a class is cancelled. In the case of Registrant cancellation, REFUNDS (minus a $25 processing fee) ARE GIVEN ONLY IF THE OFFICE IS NOTIFIED ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF FIRST CLASS. No refunds after classes have started.

Classes are designed to afford interested students the exciting experience of rehearsing a piece from start to finish. Regular attendance by all students is very important, particularly where indicated below. Please check your schedules before signing up students for classes.

WONDERS OF WINTER TALES

Sledding and skiing and snowmen… oh my!  Come in from the wintry weather as we act out stories of snowmen, snow trolls, storms and all things frozen!

Limit 8 students. Tuition: $275

SHOWTIME

Children will be guided through the exciting process of play-making in a safe environment that encourages ensemble work. The class will use exciting original scripts to create and rehearse a play to be performed for family members during the last class.

Limit 12 students. Tuition $300

KIDS KOMPANY

Students will experience the excitement of putting on a play, improvising scripts, auditioning for roles, rehearsing, and creating simple costumes to accent their characters. This class will focus on performance skills with special emphasis on class collaboration. The session will conclude with an informal performance.

Limit 15 students. Tuition: $300

Grades: 3-4

Time: Tuesdays 6:00-7:00pm

MUSICAL THEATER AUDITION TECHNIQUE

In this class, students will master the singing portion of the musical theater audition. Learn how to choose a cut of a song that shows you in the best light possible and acquire the skills to act your cut. Perfect the art of communicating with the accompanist and enter the room with confidence so you can show your personality and feel comfortable no matter how big the audition!

Limit: 12 students. Tuition: $180

Grades: 7-12

BROADWAY DANCE

Love all those big musical theater dance numbers? Come see how it’s done and try it yourself! Join us to learn choreography to musical theater songs and astound yourself as you perform a full fledged dance number. No dance background necessary. An informal presentation will conclude the class.

INTRO TO MUSICAL THEATER

A helpful precursor to CYT’s Junior Company, Intro to Musical Theater builds confidence around skills needed for putting on a full production: group singing, expressing dialogue, understanding simple choreography, learning parts of the stage, and more! The session will conclude with an informal performance.

Limit: 20 students. Tuition: $270

Grades: 1-2

Time: Thursdays 4:00-5:00pm

ACTING AS PLAY

Hannah Flint

Love improv games and creating characters? Build confidence onstage and off while playing! This class will use drama games to sharpen skills for performance, stretch your imagination, and build a supportive class community — with friends, old and new!

Limit: 20 students. Tuition: $270
