At our Annual Cabaret, members of our Teen Company join CYT alumni (recent and not-so-recent!) for a night of hilarious sketches and songs from your favorite Broadway musicals! Combining this entertainment with delicious food and drink options makes for a truly festive night out! Join us and ring in CYT’s 2026 season, which (drumroll please) will be the 50th!

CYT actors will inspire you with new and improved versions of familiar children’s stories, complete with a sing-a-long!
Outgoing audience members may even join the actors on stage to tell a joke or share a special talent. And everyone gets a prize at the end!!!

Playtime performances start at 10:30 and attendees pay $5/person at the door.

New York City, 1899. Jack Kelly and his ragtag team of newsboys make a meager living selling newspapers on the city streets. But when the prices of “papes” are hiked and the newsies are hung out to dry, there is nothing left to do but “open the gates and seize the day!” Led by charismatic Jack and independent, young newspaper reporter Katherine Plummer, the Newsies form a union and organize a strike against the greedy publisher of the New York World.
