Refund and Cancellation Policy:

Tuition is due at the time of registration. Your space is guaranteed only when payment is received. All classes are contingent on sufficient enrollment. Tuitions will be returned if a workshop is cancelled. In the case of Registrant cancellation, REFUNDS (minus a $25 processing fee) ARE GIVEN ONLY IF THE OFFICE IS NOTIFIED ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF FIRST CLASS.  Once a workshop begins, no refunds will be given.


Winter 2020 In-Person WORKSHOPS

CREATE A CHARACTER (Grades 3-5; Instructor: Brian Pollack; 1/16 & 1/17 10:30am-12pm )Do you love making up all kinds of fun, zany, or magical characters? Or, is that difficult or scary for you and you wish it were easier? Either way, this workshop is for you! In this class, we will play with the basics of how to create all kinds of original characters, from animals to people and even objects, using just your body and imagination! Limit: 16 students. Tuition: $90

CHARACTER WORKSHOP- LEVEL 1 (Grades 6-8; Instructor: Brian Pollack; 1/16 & 1/17 12:30-2:30pm) Whether you’re a wiz at creating whole unique characters on the spot in auditions and rehearsals, or it’s difficult for you and you admire the older kids who seem to be able to do it so easily in Mainstage or Playtime — either way, this workshop is for you! In this class, we will explore some tools for creating characters, from scratch or from a script, using just your body and imagination. Limit:16 students. Tuition: $120

CHARACTER WORKSHOP- LEVEL 2 (Grades 9-12; Instructor; Brian Pollack; 1/16 & 1/17 3:30-5:30pm) In this class, we will play with a variety of more advanced tools for creating characters, from scratch or from a script, and develop our ability to totally transform ourselves with just physicality and voice. We will explore how anything from animals to music, paintings, photographs, and even words or poems, can become an entry point into discovering a character. Limit: 16 students. Tuition: $120

BROADWAY DANCE AND HIP-HOP WORKSHOP (Grades 3-7; Instructor: Ella Grandprey; 1/16 & 1/17 5:30-7:30pm)Ella’s home from college! This is a special opportunity to dance with her like old times! This workshop runs for 2 hours and 2 days, one hour of musical theatre choreography and one hour of hip-hop each day! Join us to learn choreography to musical theater and pop songs and astound yourself as you perform a full fledged dance number. No dance background necessary. Limit: 20 students. Tuition: $120
