Theatre Arts Workshops, Summer 2013

REFUND POLICY: Tuition is refundable, less a $25 fee, if you cancel by the close of business on June 3, 2013. After that date tuition is refundable less a $25 fee ONLY if your child’s place is filled by another participant.

PIPSQUEAK PLAYERS (Ages 4-6 years old)

Under the guidance of two Concord Youth Theatre staff members, young students will experience theatre games, singing and a variety of theater related activities. The session will culminate in a short presentation of a story.

*Session 1: July 8-12, 9am-noon
*Session 2: July 22-26, 9am-noon
     Tuition $210 per session, limit 16 students

CENTER STAGE PLAYERS (Grades 1-5)

A one week creative workshop to satisfy all of your dramatic needs! Using scripts and/or improvised dialogue, students will dramatize familiar stories on stage, complete with songs and simple dances. The group will be coached in acting, singing and movement by two Concord Youth Theatre staff members. The week will culminate in an informal performance for friends and family.

*Session 1: July 8-12          1pm-4pm          For students entering grades 2-4
*Session 2: July 15-19        9am-noon          For students entering grades 1-3
*Session 3: July 15-19        1-4pm               For students entering grades 3-5
*Session 4: July 22-26        1-4pm               For students entering grades 2-4
*Session 5: July 29-Aug 2   9am-noon          For students entering grades 1-3
*Session 6: Aug 5-Aug 9     9am-noon          For students entering grades 3-5

SUMMER STOCK TROUPE (Grades 5-7)

This fun and in depth workshop is sure to sharpen your performance skills. Under the direction of two Concord Youth Theatre staff members, students will be coached in character development, improvisation, voice and movement as they rehearse their play. The session will culminate in an informal performance for friends and family.

*July 29-Aug 9   1-4pm     For students entering grades 5-7
        Tuition $400, limit 20 students
