Summer Schedule - 2008

Summer 2008 Workshops at CYT

Pipsqueak Players

Under the guidance of two Concord Youth Theatre staff members, young students experience theatre games, singing and a variety of theatre related art activities. The session will culminate in a short presentation of a story.
Limit 16 students. Tuition $170 (includes art supplies).

July 14 - July 18 9am-11:30am
For students 4 and a half - 6 years old.

Center Stage Players
A one-week creative workshop to satisfy all your dramatic needs! Using scripts and/or improvised dialogue, students will dramatize familiar stories on stage, complete with songs and simple dances. The group will be coached in acting, singing and movement by two Concord Youth Theatre staff members. The week will culminate in an informal performance at our Friday Evening Showcase.
Limit 20 students. Tuition $190 per week.

Session 1: July 21-25 ~ 9am-Noon ~ For students entering grades 1-3
Session 2: July 21-25 ~ 1pm-4pm ~ For students entering grades 4-7
Session 3: July 28-August 1 ~ 9am-Noon ~ For students entering grades 2-4
Session 4: August 4-8 ~ 9am-Noon ~ For students entering grades 2-4
Session 5: August 11-15 ~ 9am-Noon ~ For students entering grades 1-3
Session 6: August 11-15 ~ 1pm-4pm ~ For students entering grades 4-7

Summer Stock Troupe
This fun and in-depth workshop is sure to sharpen presentation skills and give participants a taste of the work of a professional actor. Under the direction of two Concord Youth Theatre staff members, students will learn, rehearse and present a play in two weeks. They will be intensively coached in character development, improvisation, singing and movement. The week will culminate in an informal performance at our Friday Evening Showcase.
Limit 20 students. Tuition $360.

July 28- August 8 (Weekdays) ~ 1pm-4pm
For students entering grades 5 and up.

Please use the registration form on the CYT brochure or CLICK HERE to download and print the form to enroll your child in a Summer Workshop. All workshops will be held in Concord (Exact location TBA). Please call or email us at 978-371-1482 or info@concordyouththeatre.org with any questions or to verify that we received your child's registration. Assume your child is enrolled unless we notify you that there is a problem. No confirmations will be sent, except by email when requested.

Refund Policy: Tuition is refundable less a $25 fee if you cancel by close of business on June 1, 2007. After June 1, 2007, tuition is refundable less a $25 fee. ONLY if your child's place is filled by another participant.
